Safety
	Accident Free Since Startup in 1991 Our hypobaric chambers are safe and simple to use. If you refer to enclosed "How To Use" section you will see that with just a little knowledge about altitude and pressure you can immediately begin to enjoy the benefits of Altitude Fitness. All our chambers are built or fabricated to exceed the requirements for intended use. As part of our quality assurance program, each chamber is tested to about 30,000 feet, twice its intended use. However, a calibrated pressure relief safety valve limits the altitude to a maximum of 15,000 feet so you can enjoy the chamber without having to worry about "going beyond the vertical limit." As you operate the chamber, you will experience a true to life simulation of all the aspects of a "mountain-top experience"; except for the cold, wind, wet and all the time and energy to get up a mountain. The chamber in effect provides a mild hypobaric environment. The air pressure is no different than that of going to the bottom of a 14-foot swimming pool. If you have ever flown in a commercial airplane then you have experienced these pressure changes, which you will find, as you use our chamber.
Since 1991, we have a perfect safety record, e.i. no safety issues. Qualified engineers, controlled manufacturing, redundant safety systems and complete testing of all components of all chambers make our equipment completely safe. That is why people around the world use it. You can use the Altitude Fitness chamber with complete confidence in safety and its performance. Caution: People who have a cold involving the nose and/or ear or an ear infection or sinus problems should not use the chamber because the pressure changes may cause headaches and other more serious side effects. The Hypobaric chamber should never be used with alcohol or any prescription drugs. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns with the effects of altitude, i.e. a lower barometic pressure, on your body. Caution: If you are on blood thinning medication such as coumadin, or any other prescription medicine, Please consult your doctor before entering hypobaric altitude chamber.
